Recording of Episode 05 Vibe with Venerables “What should we do about prapañca?” with Soryu Forall

by | May 2, 2025 | Buddhism.net Blog, Recording

We are delighted to share the recording of Episode 05 of Vibe with Venerables, where we get to talk “live” to Buddhist masters together.

Soryu Forall explores prapañca (Pali: papañca; Chinese: 妄想)—the mind’s habit of mental proliferation that leads to conflict and suffering. He reveals how even our best intentions can become harmful when we cling to fixed views, and introduces a powerful inquiry practice: “How is this wrong? How is this not even wrong?” Through this, Soryu invites us onto a path of release from prapañca.

This session includes a short guided meditation, chanting, a Dharma talk, and a live Q&A with participants.
