Reflections for “Abbot’s Commentary: Why Buddhism Fascinates Me”

by | Oct 21, 2023 | Buddhism.net Blog

The post titled Abbot’s Commentary: Why Buddhism Fascinates Me is now up on Buddhism for All. Angela from the Buddhism.net team reflected on it, and invites you to do so too.

🌕 Angela’s Reflections:

Buddhism doesn’t ignore suffering or promise external saviors. Instead, Buddhism encourages us to face our truths directly. In doing so, we come to know the nature of reality as it is, and the nature of mind. When we know, that is what truly liberates us. The Buddha has done it. You and I, we all can, too. The power of the innate awakened mind is yours to discover, recognize, realize and awaken to.

🌱 Journal Reflection Prompts for You:

  • 📝 What is important to you in your life?

  • 📝 What are you seeking? What do you want to be free of? In fact what we are seeking and what we want to be free of are two sides of the same coin.
