Practice and study with Sravasti Abbey

by | Aug 16, 2025 | Buddhism.net Blog

Dear friends,

We host Vibe with Venerables with the intention to share the wisdom and compassion of Buddhist Venerables with all around the world, freely.

The Buddha named good spiritual friendship (kalyāṇa mittatā), which includes having both good spiritual friends and good spiritual teachers, as “the first vital condition for the development of the factors of enlightenment.” [Ref: Aṅguttara Nikāya 9.1] We hope that in addition to learning Dharma, this series will also help you gain the good spiritual friendship necessary for your eventual enlightenment.

Therefore, we hope to introduce you to different Venerables from all traditions of Buddhism through our Vibe with Venerables series, and would be delighted if you continue to learn from them after their live episodes with us end.
