Dharma in a Minute-ish: Now with Four Noble Truths

by | Sep 24, 2025 | Buddhism.net Blog, Dharma in a Minute-ish

My name is Meng, and I’m impatient. I like Dharma teachings like I like my tea—short, strong, and ready in about two minutes.

Some months ago, I told you how our team set out to make Dharma videos that are both short and meaningful. We thought it would be easy. Spoiler: it was not. Keeping something profound, true to the Dharma, and engaging—all in a minute or two—is like trying to fit an elephant into a mini-Cooper. But hey, just because something is impossible doesn’t mean we shouldn’t do it, right? (Yes, I’m quoting my old Google days again.)

Back then, we started with just two videos. Today, I’m delighted (and slightly relieved) to share that we now have all four Noble Truths up as videos. Short enough to fit into your coffee break, deep enough to shift how you see your life.

Why does this matter? Because if you can learn about suffering, the causes of suffering, the cessation of suffering and the path to its cessation in less time than it takes to scroll Instagram reels, you no longer have an excuse to say, “Sorry, too busy to learn Dharma.”

And, we’re not stopping here.

Up next: the Noble Eightfold Path. Eight steps, eight videos, eight chances to say, “Wow, I never thought I could learn Dharma in bite-sized pieces.”

So stay tuned, watch the Four Noble Truths videos, and get ready for the Eightfold Path.

As always, Dharma in a Minute-ish: short enough for your day, deep enough for your life.

Here are the Four Noble Truth videos

Enjoy them with a cup of coffee, or tea, or both.
