Coming up: You Don’t Have to be a Buddhist to be a Buddhist

by | Jul 2, 2024 | Buddhism.net Blog

Friends,

All good things must come to an end. We have now arrived at the end of the Buddhism for All series. Buddhism is not a faith tradition; it is an evidence-centric insight tradition. The Buddha does not invite you to believe, he invites you to come and see it for yourself, and then decide what you want to do with it.

Soryu and I hope that Buddhism for All has helped you see Buddhism for yourself. Please allow us to close the series with three beautiful short stories. The first two gives you a sense of how you can be a Buddhist without being a Buddhist. The final story is about the moment the newly enlightened Buddha decided to teach the Dharma to the world, which continues to benefit all of us to this day.

All that, coming up in Topic#17.

If you enjoy the Buddhism for All series, please tell all your friends about it. Please also consider buying the book, especially for all your relatives in Alabama. The conversation at Thanksgiving dinner will be interesting, I promise. Proceeds from book sales help us pay our staff and keep our lights on, and we love our staff, and having our lights on.

Wishing you well, friends.
